CipherGenii provides the encryption and privacy infrastructure that enables AI agents to operate on sensitive data without exposing it. In the documented encrypted retrieval path, the host operates on encrypted queries and documents while the trusted client holds the keys and decrypts results for answer generation. What is actually protected depends on the deployed mode: a real confidential substrate keeps queries and documents encrypted on the host, trusted keyholders decrypt and answer on the client side, and the development substrate provides no confidentiality and must not be used for sensitive records.

A separately deployed confidential-compute component. In a real confidential mode it keeps sensitive data encrypted while AI retrieves and works with it; the protection you get is the one your deployment configures and verifies.
Traditional encryption protects data at rest and in transit. AI systems also process data during inference, retrieval, and reasoning — creating exposure points that standard encryption doesn't cover.
